Church family,

Our hearts are heavy watching what is transpiring across our country.   The anger, frustration, and disappointment people are feeling and expressing is heart wrenching.   It’s clear that our country needs the hope, healing and salvation that God offers freely.  Although we don’t know what God is up to right now, we do have confidence that He cares about our pain and is in firm control.  Please take time today to pray with us for our citizens, leaders and law enforcement.

The Pastors

2 Chronicles 7:14  if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

1 Timothy 2:2-3.   Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so we can be quietly about our business of living simply, in humble contemplation. This is the way our Savior God wants us to live.

Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

If you enjoy The Bible Project videos, we all of their books of the Bible on our website at:  www.sierra.church/bible-in-a-year/. We have them organized so you can watch all of the books of the Bible in year.

Although, the virus has limited our campus activities, our expenses keep marching on and our missionaries still need our support. If you are accustomed to giving regularly (thank you) you can still do that from the website.  At the upper right corner of the home page is a tab marked, “Give.” Click on the tab and follow the instructions for online giving. Tammy will continue to keep the church office open from Monday – Friday from 10am to 4pm, so if you prefer, you can mail your offering in or drop it by the office.  Thank you for your generosity!

God bless,

The pastors
