Thirty years ago, I said yes to Jesus and He changed me and my family's live forever! Sierra was the church that my then boyfriend and now husband Mark found for us when we first came to the faith. In fact, our first sermon was on divine appointments; we’ve continued attending ever since. Because I did not grow up in a believing household, Sierra became my first church home. It was and continues to be a safe place for me to grow in my faith, in the knowledge of God’s word, and to learn about the life of Jesus. Being both encouraged and challenged through fellowship with other believers, Sierra has helped me to understand what is meant by the verse “iron sharpens iron.” My story with Sierra has continued to grow as God has given me a heart for women’s ministry. I love the women of this church and of our community and desire to see our lives (and our family’s lives) transformed by the Spirit, as we come together as one!
