Worship Team
It is our desire to create a team of godly, servant-minded musicians who want to bless the people of our church by leading them in Christ centered, God exalting, truth-driven worship. The ultimate goal of the Music Team is to get out of the way and let people rush into the throne room of their God.
There is a huge misunderstanding in the global Church today that when we sing songs to God that this is our time of worship. In actuality, the Bible teaches that worship is a lifestyle that seeks to honor God (Romans 12:1-2 “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”).
We want to help the congregation and the team understand that when we sing in corporate worship, it is ONLY ONE of many ways to worship God. Indeed we can bring God glory, honor and praise in every single aspect of our life, even eating and drinking! (1 Corinthians 10:31 “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”) We want people to understand the important truth that God desires a LIFE of worship from His followers beyond only singing on Sundays.
AV (Audio/Visual) Team
Our first and foremost mission is to team up with all of the other Church Ministries and, to the best of our abilities, assist them creating and implementing a more immersive and engaging experience as they share the Gospel. As an Audio/Visual team, we are charged with the awesome responsibility of fusing the the Gospel message and a variety of different media (worship music, video, preaching, lighting,..etc.), to foster an environment that encourages people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ both in our church and online.
